A graduate of the American Film Institute’s Cinematography Program, Brian studied under such notable ASC cinematographers as Stephen Lighthill and Bill Dill.

Born and raised in the foothills of Colorado, Brian's interest in film and storytelling led him to Boston University’s film program, where he shot several high concept shorts. He later moved to New York City and worked as an assistant cameraman for some of the city’s premier cinematographers.

His most recent projects to date include shooting additional photography for HBO MAX’s MINX and NBC's GOOD GIRLS; episodes 308 & 309 of HULU's CASUAL; the science fiction feature film THRESHOLD; SMORGASBORD, an AFI DWW Narrative short staring Brie Larson (ROOM, CAPTAIN MARVEL); MARIA MY LOVE, a feature film staring Judy Marte (RAISING VICTOR VARGAS) and Karen Black (FIVE EASY PIECES, EASY RIDER).

Brian is currently based in Los Angeles and is a member of the ICG union as a camera operator. He shoots interior photography when not behind a motion picture camera.
